Konde Diocese

ELCT Konde Diocese is a Faith Based Organization which was registered under the Societies Ordinance Act of 1954 and officially registered on 26th September 2000 with registration number So.10621. The original of the Diocese dates back to 1891 when the Berlin Missionaries arrived in the area. In 1977 it became a Synod and attained a Diocese status in 1982 with her Head Office in Manow, almost 45 Km North East of Tukuyu township. In the year 1993, the Diocese shifted her Head Office to Tukuyu.
