European Management Solutions is in the process of identifying 1 expert for the EC tender” Strengthening of the Serbian system of market surveillance for non-food and food products (EMS 4947LT)”.

Global objective:
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to a high level of protection of consumers in Serbia.

Required qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree (where a university degree has been awarded on completion of three years study in a university or equivalent institution) in management, public administration, economics, engineering or other relevant discipline.
• A Master/PhD in management, public administration, economics, engineering, law or other relevant discipline (following the award of the degree) is an advantage.
• Be proficient in English.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

General professional experience:

• Post-graduate working experience of at least 10 years, but preferably 15, in the field of market surveillance.

Specific professional experience:

• At least 8 years, but preferably 12, of working experience as a senior professional in a public market surveillance authority in one of the EU member states, including the experience in development and implementation of practical market surveillance operations, such as operating procedures, instructions and guidelines for performing market surveillance activities.
• Working as an expert in at least one project, but preferably 3, related to capacity building of the nation wide market surveillance authorities, in the countries covered by article 19 of IPA regulation.
• Experience with developing and/or delivering training courses.
• At least 8 but preferably 20 courses designed and/or delivered.
• Working experience of at least 2 years, but preferably 6, in development and implementation of quality management systems.
