CONSULTANCY SERVICES for Construction Supervision Consultant for CONSTRUCTION OF A LOCAL ROAD OF CATEROGY 5 ON THE LEFT BANK OF THE ROGUN RESERVOIR (SAYINDON-LABIJAR) UNDER THE ROGUN HYDROPOWER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM  

The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in the form of a loan toward the cost of “Rogun Hydropower Development Program – Phase 1”. The State Enterprise “Directorate of the Flooding Zone of Rogun Hydropower Plant” (“DFZ” or “Client/Employer”) intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for Construction Supervision Consultancy Services for Supervision in the role of the Engineer for the Construction of a local road of  category 5 on the left bank of the Rogun reservoir (Sayindon-Labijar) under FIDIC Red Book 2017

Under this tender, the Contractor is mobilizing experts: 

Resident/ Highway Engineer (RE)

15 years professional experience and 8 years’ experience as Resident Engineer and/or Highway Engineer major road projects. Experience on AIIB or other International Donor-funded projects would be an advantage. Working knowledge in Russian Language will be preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering – preferably Masters in Civil Engineering / Highway Engineering / Structure Engineering / Transportation Engineering / Construction Management / Project Management or equivalent.

Represents the Engineer on site on a full-time basis, supervising day-to-day construction activities, coordinating CSC staff, and ensuring works are executed in accordance with the Contract, approved drawings, method statements, and safety requirements. Maintains site records, chairs site meetings, verifies progress, and supports certifications and instructions under delegated authority in line with FIDIC Red Book 2017.
