Pre-solicitation notice - Preventive Maintenance Services for Airstack (Multi-Stack) Chillers at US. Embassy, Kuwait

The requirement is to acquire services to maintain the Airstack (Multi-Stack) Chillers in safe, reliable, and efficient operating condition.  Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.  The Embassy of the United States in Kuwait will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov Contract Opportunities.  The anticipated performance period is for a base year with four optional one-year periods, if exercised by the Government.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.  The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is the manufacturer’s (Multi-stack) authorized service provider.  The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.  The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price type contract. 

All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
