Objectives: The tender aims to contract the supply, installation, and training for the acquisition of five winches, chassis, hoists, safety components, tools, manuals, and complementary training plans for portable sawmills. This initiative is intended to improve the efficiency and sustainability of on-site timber processing for forest extraction, enabling the transportation of logs and wood blocks from utilization areas in the Forest Development Nuclei, Los Puertos and Orotuyo, in Colombia. It seeks to enhance local resource optimization, reduce transportation needs, lower associated costs, minimize carbon footprint, and promote responsible forest management in line with environmental conservation and economic development principles.
