CARDO Sierra Leone is seeking strategic partners to collaborate on integrated community development projects focused on agriculture, education, and solar electrification in rural communities.
Our current initiative supports vulnerable communities in northern Sierra Leone by combining sustainable farming, access to quality education, and clean energy solutions. The project includes support for smallholder farmers through seed loans, improved storage and drying facilities, and value addition for crops such as rice, cassava, and groundnuts. At the same time, we provide educational support for children and youth, including scholarships and school improvement activities.
To ensure long-term sustainability, we are expanding access to off-grid solar electricity for schools, households, and community facilities. This will improve learning conditions, enhance safety, and support small businesses.
We are looking for partners such as NGOs, impact investors, technical organizations, academic institutions, and private sector companies interested in:
Sustainable agriculture and food security
Rural education and youth empowerment
Renewable energy and climate resilience
Community infrastructure development
Capacity building and social enterprise development
Potential areas of collaboration include co-implementation, technical support, funding partnerships, research collaboration, and market linkages.
CARDO Sierra Leone has strong community presence and local implementation experience. We are committed to transparency, measurable impact, and long-term community transformation.
We welcome discussions with organizations that share our vision of sustainable and inclusive development in Sierra Leone.
