About Stand Against Cancer (SAC)
Stand Against Cancer (Cameroon) is a non-profit organization created in 2022, dedicated to cancer awareness, prevention, and community support.
Project: CAIFC (Douala, Cameroon)
We are launching the CAIFC — Cancer Support, Information & Training Center in Douala. CAIFC is non-medical: it does not provide diagnosis, prescriptions, or treatment. It complements hospitals by offering:
• Guidance & navigation for patients and families (what to do next, where to go, how to prepare medical appointments)
• Reliable information & prevention education (breast, cervical and other cancers)
• Psycho-social support for patients and caregivers
• Training workshops for families, communities, companies/associations, and non-clinical topics for health workers (patient education, referral navigation, caregiver support)
Why this matters
In Cameroon, families often face cancer with limited access to reliable information, complex pathways, and lack of guidance. CAIFC is designed to reduce confusion, support families, and strengthen prevention efforts.
What partnerships we are seeking
We welcome partners and sponsors for:
1. Financial support (CAPEX for setup; OPEX for operations; program sponsorship)
2. In-kind donations (equipment, furniture, IT, printing, internet, logistics)
3. Technical support (training, content development, M&E, communications)
4. Media and awareness partnerships (co-branded campaigns, coverage, storytelling)
5. Corporate/CSR collaborations (employee awareness sessions, prevention workshops)
What we offer partners
• Recognition as an official partner/sponsor (logo visibility on campaign materials and at the center)
• Co-branding opportunities (workshops, awareness materials)
• Regular impact reporting (activities delivered, people reached, families supported)
• Naming opportunities (e.g., “Training Room sponsored by …”) depending on contribution
Timeline
Pilot launch in Douala with expansion/replication planned.
