  • Experience implementing structured psychosocial support programs
  • Existing systems for safeguarding, monitoring, and financial tracking
Rescue Mission for Street Life was established in 2015 and works with vulnerable children in Kampala.

Through our work we have proved that children must stabilise from trauma and caregivers must be ready first, for sustained reintegration into safety, health, family, school, and livelihood pathways. By using our ThriveWell programme of stabilisation for both the child and the caregiver we have proved a sustained reintegration at 12 weeks of 90% compared to the 33% in traditional methods of working with vulnerable children.

Please contact me for more details of our program and ThriveWell model along with a proposed project 'EmpowerHer' to work with young mothers in Kampala to ensure they are emotionally ready before transitioning them into Skills Training leading to a stable income.
