Description
While the Ministry of Foreign Affairs directs policy and strategy, the Danida Fellowship Centre administers Danida’s grants to development research and research capacity building, and coordinates Danida Alumni Network. We are also responsible for planning and offering studies and training modules to strengthen the capacity of the partner institutions that Denmark collaborates with in low-income and emerging economies.
In 2017, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs mandated the Danida Fellowship Centre to offer learning courses and research projects under the new Strategic Sector Cooperation and thereby contribute to strengthen the bilateral relations with selected emerging economies of strategic importance to Denmark.
