The National Electricity Company (ENDE) is a corporation of the Plurinational State, whose main objective and strategic role is to participate in the entire production chain of the electricity industry and in electricity import and export activities in a sustainable manner, with criteria of promotion, social and economic development of the country (Supreme Decree No. 29644, of July 16, 2008).
With the nationalization of companies in the electricity sector, ENDE Corporación has control over the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. It is made up of a parent company, eleven subsidiaries and a subsidiary. In addition, it has representation in directories of two other regional distribution companies.
ENDE matrix exercises direct and indirect control and direction, having to guarantee that these companies pursue the achievement of the objectives and goals defined for the Corporation, for which some adjustments and changes were necessary in the organizational and functional structure of the matrix ENDE.
