Description
UNICEF is currently working in more than 190 countries and regions for the well-being and health of children, from childhood to adulthood. Most vaccines reach children in developing countries through UNICEF, and we are determined to ensure that all children have access to clean drinking water, food, at least basic education, and to protect them from violence, exploitation, infectious diseases, and AIDS. UNICEF is working on individual donations and financial support from governments, business and civil society.
UNICEF Hungarian Committee Foundation, as a UNICEF representative in Hungary, collects donations to UNICEF's child protection programs and fights for the enforcement of children's rights in Hungary. In Hungary, there is a national committee, not a program office, ie the local humanitarian program is not conducted by the foundation.
