The Investment and Export Promotion Agency (APIEx) resulting from the merging of three structures, namely ABePEC, GUFE and CPI, is one of the instruments put in place by the Government to promote investment and exports and ensure business intelligence and economic intelligence for companies.

The establishment of this structure aims to create more synergy in the administrative formalities for the improvement of the business climate and the competitiveness of companies. It is a step towards integrating trade and investment support structures for more efficiency and results in responding to the development of exports and investments.
It serves as a catalyst that can boost these two sectors in order to make a real and effective contribution to the rebalancing of the trade balance, to the growth of the national economy, to a better positioning of Beninese companies in international markets.
