Green Africa Foundation

Green Africa foundation was founded in Kenya in the year 2000 and registered by the registrar of societies under section 10 of the Societies Act. Our vision is a Green Africa, hence we implement practical community driven projects towards greening Africa. We also influence policy formulation and imlementation at county and national government levels. The foundation implements projects across the following key components; Climate Change, Policy Advocacy, Environmental Conservation, Agriculture and Climate Change, Water  and Energy, afforestation and forest conservation. It has spearheaded governance programs and supported public participation in policy development at the national and county levels over the years. More specifically, we have had extensive work on supporting public participation in climate change, Environment and Natural resource governance in the ASAL counties; Wajir, Marsabit and Garissa. Other counties where the foundation has worked are in Nairobi, Kitui and Kajiado.
