Description
The DRC has been active in Georgia since 1999, providing aid to nearly 300,000 internally displaced persons. The DRC provides protection, shelter and construction work. DRC also engages in economic recovery activities like training and support for small businesses, rural development, vocational training, and work placement, so that the displaced can rebuild self-reliant lives in dignity and security. The DRC collaborates closely with local organisations and Georgian authorities.
