Description

The Implementing Authority for the Phare Border Cooperation Program was established in 1994 under the Financial Agreement of 19 September 1994 concluded between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the European Commission. This agreement concerned subsidies for financing.

In the following years, WWPWP was entrusted with the implementation of subsequent Phare Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) programs, and later received the Phare Program for Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) and under the agreement between the Minister of the Interior and Administration and the Minister of Economy, the Phare Social Cohesion Program - Economic (SSG).

From January 1, 2004, the Implementing Authority for the Phare Border Cooperation Program was a state budget unit subordinated to the Minister of the Interior and Administration.

On March 7, 2007, by the decision of the Minister of the Interior and Administration, the unit's name was changed to the Implementing Authority for European Programs (WWPE).

Since 27 December 2011, the Implementing Authority for European Programs is a state budget unit subordinated to the Minister of Digitization and Administration, which oversees the operations of WWPE.

Pursuant to Regulation No. 7 of the Minister of Administration and Digitization of March 17, 2015. regarding the change of the name of the Implementing Authority for European Programs to the Digital Poland Projects Center and granting the Statute of the Digital Poland Projects Center (Journal of Laws of the Ministry of Administration and Digit from 2015 item 10) as of April 3, 2015 the name of the Implementing Authority for Programs changed European at the Digital Poland Design Center.

The documents responding to the legal status of CPPC are the status of the Digital Poland Project Center and the organizational regulations of the Digital Poland Project Center.
