Department of Planning and Investment of Thua Thien Hue Province (Vietnam)

- Department of Planning and Investment is a specialized agency under supervision of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC); functioning as state management agency on  planning and investment as follows: providing the Provincial People's Committee with consultation in terms of master plan and socio-economic development plan; implementing, lodging a petition, and putting forward mechanism and socio-economic management policies in the Province; managing domestic and foreign investment in province; managing ODA fund; managing bids and business registration in province; managing public services under the Department’s management in accordance with Vietnamese law; and carrying out some duties according to the PPC's authority and the Vietnamese law.

- Department of Planning and Investment has legal status, its own seal and account, and is under guidance and management on organization and personnel of the PPC as well as specialized guidance of Ministry of Planning and Investment.
