Description
The DGHS was established as Directorate in 1958 during the Pakistani era. In 1980, it has been upgraded to Directorate General. The head of DGHS is Director General. He is assisted by two Additional Director General. Different line directors, deputy directors, assistant directors, medical officers, other officers & supporting staffs also help him to execute all responsibilities. In all medical college hospitals and divisional offices, directors are responsible for all kind of administrative functions.
