The Ministry of Finance and Finance assist the Head of Government in all matters inherent to his powers in accordance with the objectives set forth below:

Design, propose and implement financial, tax and budgetary policies.
Administer, manage and regulate the Management System, Financial Administration and Control of the Public Sector and establish the organization and operation of its organs, in the terms of Law 70.
Coordinate actions for planning and managing public investment and control the formulation and evaluation of investment initiatives carried out by the different jurisdictions, in terms of compliance with the established methodologies, guidelines and procedures.
Plan, coordinate and implement the public debt.
Implement and execute the relationship of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires with international financial organizations.
Design, implement and supervise the application of the salary policy of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Understand in the planning, execution and control of the purchasing and contracting policy of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Design, plan, apply and coordinate statistical and census systems.
Participate in the formulation and implement the policy of regulation of the acquisition and maintenance of the automotive fleet belonging to the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Prepare and sign the agreements arising from the collective negotiations with the union representations and each one of the Ministries or areas involved.
Design and implement the human resources management and administration policies of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Design and implement the administrative career, as well as the management regime, or any special regime, established in Law 471, on Labor Relations in the Public Administration of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Supervise and coordinate with the entities and agencies of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, the formulation of initiatives for the development of their human resources and individual ranks.
Participate together with the Ministries of Education and Health, in the preparation of proposals to improve the teaching career and the health professional career.
