National Anticorruption Authority (Autorità nazionale anticorruzione)

The Anac is an independent administrative authority whose institutional mission is identified in the action of prevention of corruption in all areas of administrative activity. Anac's activity takes place through supervision on various fronts: application of the #anti-corruption legislation and compliance with the obligations of #transparency, conferment of public offices, #conflicts of interest of officials, assignment and execution of #public contracts. The Anac is a collegial body made up of the President and four members chosen from among highly professional experts, even unrelated to the administration, with proven skills in Italy and abroad, both in the public and private sectors, with well-known independence and proven experience in anti-corruption matters.
