General Office (Office for Guangdong Provincial Language Affairs Committee)
Being responsible for such daily administrative work as document processing, committee affairs, confidential work, archives keeping, financial affairs, asset management; undertaking such work as collecting information, maintaining secrecy, answering petition letters, conducting press publicity, and making government affairs public; giving directions to the archives keeping and secrecy maintaining in universities; giving directions to the drawing up of language planning and implementation in universities; giving directions to the promotion of Putonghua and administering Putonghua training and testing; giving directions to the standardization of the use of language; undertaking the specific tasks assigned by Guangdong Provincial Language Affairs Committee.
