The Ministry of Transport is responsible for formulating and implementing government policy on transport and road safety.
As such, he is responsible for:
to study and participate in the development and implementation of legislative or regulatory measures relating to transport;
to study and participate in the development and implementation of legislative or regulatory measures relating to road safety and prevention, in conjunction with the other administrations concerned;
to ensure the coordinated development of all modes of transport, to ensure or control the organization and operation of air, road, rail, sea and river transport;
to ensure or control the organization and operation of road transport and road safety, in conjunction with the administrations concerned;
monitoring the implementation and execution of the transport sector plan;
civil aviation, river and maritime navigation, road and rail transport and meteorology;
to contribute to the professional training of transport personnel;
monitoring the activities of the company CAMRAIL.
