The Ministry of Justice is the Spanish government's department responsible for preparing and implementing government policy to bring the legal system up to speed particularly in criminal, civil, commercial and procedural law matters as well as supporting the administration of justice and legal and international cooperation.
It is therefore responsible for processing documents relating to grace rights and grantees as well as providing legal assistance to state administrations. It is also the Government's communication channel with the Administration of Justice, the General Council of the Judiciary and the Prosecution Ministry through the Attorney General.
