Description
The EIB has worked with Jordan since 1979. They support the upgrade of its socio-economic infrastructure by, for example, financing the Wadi Al Arab water system, securing access to drinking water in a country that suffers from water scarcity. They have also improved the energy supply and supported the national objective to reach a 10% renewable energy share by 2020. Another good example is the modernisation of Jordan’s educational system and related facilities.
