Thames-Coromandel District Council is the territorial authority for the Thames-Coromandel District of New Zealand. The council consists of the mayor of Thames-Coromandel and 8 ward councillors.

We provide a wide range of essential services for residents and visitors, ranging from libraries to dog control to water services.We play a crucial role in addressing coastal erosion and managing the effects of climate change in our area, especially for our 400km of coastline - to ensure future generations can enjoy this great asset.
