Caritas Archidiecezji Gdańskiej (Caritas of the Archdiocese of Gdańsk)

Caritas of the Archdiocese of Gdańsk is a church charity organization of the Archdiocese of Gdańsk, established by a decree of the Bishop of Gdańsk on April 25, 1990.

Caritas helps the diocesan Church in fulfilling the mission of Christian charity through charitable and humanitarian activities to meet the spiritual and material needs of man, resulting from the Gospel commandment of love and bearing in mind the dignity of every human person, regardless of his religion, worldview, nationality, race and beliefs. Fulfilling its mission, Caritas carries out tasks in the area of public benefit.
