Pyuthan District is a hilly district located in Lumwini Province of Nepal. The borders of this district include Gulmi in the east, Dang and Rolpa in the west, Rolpa and Waglung in the north and Dang and Arghakhanchi in the south. Spread between 82°.36" to 80°.36" East Longitude and 27°.55" to 28°.25" North Latitude, this district seems to be extending from North to South and from East to West. Located at an altitude of 305 to 3659 meters above sea level, the area of this district is 1365 square kilometers.
