Caritas Germany in Tajikistan

Caritas Germany in Tajikistan is a branch of the German Caritas Association, founded in 1897, which is the largest social security association in Germany. In its international activities, the German Caritas Association provides disaster relief on a global scale, together with a network of 162 independent national Caritas associations, and sponsors social projects for children, the elderly, the sick and people with disabilities in many parts of the world.
The German Caritas Country Program in Tajikistan is based on social projects developed in cooperation with experienced local partner organizations, implemented mainly by local partners, and funded by the German Caritas Association or other financial institutions.
Caritas Germany in Tajikistan in 2010 signed a memorandum with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population on cooperation in the development of social services provided by state and non-governmental organizations.
