Gmina Siemkowice is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Pajęczno County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. Its seat is the village of Siemkowice, which lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Pajęczno and 76 km (47 mi) south-west of the regional capital Łódź. The gmina covers an area of 97.4 square kilometres (37.6 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 5,016.
The commune is located on the upland, which is the watershed of the Warta and Widawka rivers, in areas rich in coniferous forests with a specific microclimate. Agricultural land in the commune is 6,695 ha, including 5,150 ha of arable land. The large area of meadows and pastures allows for the breeding of dairy cows and young cattle for slaughter, while the predominant cultivation of cereals and potatoes allows for the breeding of pigs. The commune's specialty is fruit and vegetable processing, which is favored by its agricultural character.
