At the Ministry of Defence, we perform administrative and professional tasks in the areas of the defense system and the system of protection against natural and other disasters. Our tasks relate to the country's defense plan and the development, organization, equipping, operation and management of the Slovenian Army. We carry out civil defense preparations, tasks of administrative unions and cryptographic protection in the defense system, military training, organization and implementation of protection against natural and other disasters, as well as tasks related to the rights and duties of citizens in the field of defense and in the field of protection and rescue.
