The Center's Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Fisheries' mission is to participate in the formulation and implementation of policies in the areas of agriculture, rural development and fisheries and, in conjunction with the competent central bodies and services and in accordance with the standards and guidelines set out by these defined, contribute to the implementation of policies in the areas of food security, animal protection, plant health, nature and forest conservation, within the framework of efficient local resource management.
