Agenda of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic:

• prepares legislation in the field of constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, commercial law, family law, bankruptcy law and private international law;
• carries out state supervision over the activities of the Slovak Chamber of Executors, over the activities of the Chamber of Notaries of the Slovak Republic, to the extent established by law over the activities of court executors and over the activities of notaries;
• exercises control over the founders of permanent arbitration courts, permanent arbitration courts, arbitrators and disciplinary authority over arbitrators authorized to decide consumer disputes to the extent established by law;
• carries out, to the extent established by law, control over compliance with the conditions for organizing and conducting voluntary auctions;
• ensures the performance of expert work, translation work and interpreting work and publishing the Collection of Laws of the Slovak Republic and the Commercial Gazette;
• ensures the representation of the Slovak Republic at the European Court of Human Rights and the representation of the Slovak Republic in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union;
• ensures the fulfillment of tasks related to the membership of the Slovak Republic in Eurojust;
• ensures the creation and implementation of state policy and the coordination of tasks in the field of human rights.
