RDA - Rural Development Agency

Rural Development Agency RDA is a model agency that inspires and empowers rural communities. RDA Mission: Facilitating an holistic self-sustaining capacity strengthening and quality provision of services in community education, environment and livelihoods. RDA implements projects in collaboration with a number of organizations including SNV, Plan International, Child Fund, Room to Read, UNDP etc. RDA has three key thematic areas focused on as follow:

Community Education: included Volunteerism, Youth Development, Training of Trainers (TOT) and Socio- economic empowerment.
Environment: WASH- including Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS), Household Water Treatment and Safe storage, Waste management, Biodiversity conservation and environmental education.
Livelihoods: included Food and nutrition security, Community micro-financing and microenterprise development and income generating activities.
