The Swiss Cooperation Office in the Republic of Moldova opened in 2000. It has the status of diplomatic mission and represents the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation based in Kyiv, Ukraine.
The Swiss Cooperation Office manages the technical assistance provided by Switzerland to Moldova. It is responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring of the Swiss Cooperation Programme in Moldova, as well as for coordinating activities with local and international partners.
The Cooperation Office employs two Swiss nationals (Director of Cooperation and Senior Programme Manager) and twelve local programme and administrative staff.
