ADEC - Economic Development Agency of Corsica / Agence de Développement Economique de la Corse

Created in 1992 by the Territorial Authority of Corsica (CTC), the agency is in charge of the implementation of the economic policy of the region. Its administration board is chaired by the President of the Executive Council of the CTC and composed of representatives of the regional assembly and representatives of civil society.

In linewith the Corse Economic Development Plan (SCDE, 2008), the agency is in charge of activities in the following fields:

• Funding: the agency support companies that are searching for funding, in partnership with Bpifrance (the French Public Investment Bank);
• Structuring: the Agency is one of the three main partners of the competitiveness cluster CAPENERGIES (focusing on clean energies). With the State representation in Corse, the agency is also in charge of supporting regional cluster initiatives (ships, ICT, aeronautics, social economy, agro-food, etc.);
• Innovation: the agency is the main partner of the regional incubator, INIZIA and is the main contact point for innovative companies in Corse (for IP and funding issues mainly);
• Support: the agency, with local chambers of commerce, is in charge of implementing the "Entreprendre" programme. The programme aims to support the growth of SMEs, through specific services (training, external expertise, market studies, etc.).
