For the past five years, I have been working in the mining sector. First, as a geological engineer, I worked for Bellzone mining, an exploration mining company where I oversaw the drilling operations. Second, for three years, I have been working as a consultant for the Infrastructure and Natural Resources Advisory Services of the International Financial Corporation (IFC) member of the World Bank Group. At this position, I manage the capacity building of local business.

I believe that the mining sector can be the vector of the economic growth of Africa if the benefits generated are well used and that wealth created is shared equitably to all. I have been working as a technical in this industry and now in community development. I want to understand the different features to know how better contribute to responsible mining development.
