About
BRIEFLY:
I am an individual consultant in the new area of Strategic Analysis. My 22 years experience was derived from both Public and Private Sectors in several countries in Africa.

RESUME:
I am a highly experienced organisational and institutional development consultant specialising in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Sector, with 16 years’ experience supporting governments and organisations in the review of organisational policies, strategies and operation plans. I offer sound technical knowledge substantiated by a PhD in Engineering, and the ability to deliver institutional change through negotiating with and influencing policy managers in government agencies and international organisations as appropriate, and supporting clients through advocacy, influencing funding priorities, and developing WASH partnerships.

I have previously been engaged by DFID and UNICEF in the provision of strategic planning and institutional and organisational development to the governments of Sierra Leone and Nigeria, developing multi-year WASH strategies and programmes in addition to delivering institutional strengthening of the underpinning WASH institutions and partnerships to ensure long-term sustainability by incorporating environmental, climate change other related factors. My most recently, I was advising the Sierra Leonean Minister of Water Resources on institutional and partnership matters, and before this I completed several consultancies as Technical Adviser to the governments of Sierra Leone and Nigeria, reviewing and elaborating WASH plans and supporting processes of institutional change management. My recent experience also includes the development of a proposal for a viable and sustainable WASH project in marginalised communities in the northern region of Sierra Leone, and a Lessons Learned Review of several DFID-funded water projects in Nigeria. As part of my community service, I am currently advising a Trust which is pursuing the development of Internet-based businesses for Africa.
