Key qualifications:

• Experience and real mastery of the profession of civil engineering: roads maintenance and infrastructure rehabilitation; water / sanitation; Construction or rehabilitation of Hospitals, Maternities, Health Centres, Schools, Public Buildings like Courts and Prosecution, Prisons and their Infrastructures;
• Shelters manufacture in emergency programs;
• Logistics activities such as supervision for the repair and maintenance of vehicles, houses, purchase / storage of spare parts, fuels, lubricants. Control stock cards and physical Inventory in stores. Logistics procedures for distributions of Food/NFI;
• Good knowledge of institutional and market procedures;
• Predisposition for compliance with environmental protection standards;
• Strict observation of the criteria of the lesser and Project Manager, Director or Supervisor;
• Study of the socio-economic environment for a better neutrality in the interactions with Partners and Population of the region;
• Promotion of the sector with training of participating workers and technicians;
• Projects at best cost, good quality and respect to the timing;
• Identification of better alternative solutions in project design and implementation;
• Twenty years of experience in Humanitarian programs in the Great Lacks Region of Africa;
• Mastering the manipulation of communication tools (HF radio, VHF, Thuraya);
• Sense of Negotiation and Diplomacy with Partners, local and Customary Authorities
• Ability to work under pressure and in a good mood.
• Ability to apply contract schedule forecasts, by recalling penalties and evaluating projects periodically conducting site visits, technical controls and Progress images for to Director report.
