- More than 27 years’ work experience. 21 years post graduate experience.

- Strategic planner and policy analyst with work experience at national, regional and international levels in agriculture, food and nutrition security.

- Technically solid in programme planning, coordination, implementation, appraisal, monitoring and evaluation;

- Experienced in resource mobilisation; workplan and budget preparation and implementation; donor relations and reporting; and inter-agency coordination.

- Implemented technical assistance projects many of the SADC) countries and in Uganda.

- Previous senior technical positions in the following organisations: Malawi Government (Ministries of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development); European Commission Food Security Programme in Malawi, Uganda Government (Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries), UN World Food Programme (WFP), USAID Famine Early Warning System (FEWSNET), United Kingdom’s Department for International Development’s SADC Secretariat.
