About

I am a seasoned bilingual international development professional with 15 years of experience in program and project management, as well as monitoring and evaluation across multiple sectors, including Sexual and Reproductive Health and the cultural and creative industries. I bring a proven track record of successfully delivering impactful multi-country, multi-million projects within diverse cultural contexts across Africa.

Most recently as an Arts Project Manager at the British Council, I successfully managed a €7-million EU grant across 14 Eastern African countries with 36 grantees. This involved meticulous project planning, risk management, and ensuring smooth execution of grant-funded initiatives. My ability to lead multifaceted programs has honed my organizational and leadership skills.  I wasresponsible for project management and compliant delivery of the Ignite Culture Programme, Eastern Africa's largest grant fund for creative and cultural industries. I provided oversight of the support programs for the 36 grant beneficiaries, monitoring and evaluation of technical outputs and results in line with the British Council KPIs in close collaboration with HEVA Fund. I managed relationships with consultants and leading the engagement with French speaking/bilingual stakeholders to support the increased visibility and participation.

I have consulted for Population Action International in supporting partners in Cameroon, Niger, Mali, Madagascar, Rwanda and Vietnam deliver impactful sexual and reproductive health projects supported by World Bank’s Global Financing Facility.

Previously, as Program Officer, Service Delivery, Francophone at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, I implemented innovative service delivery projects in Burkina Faso, Kenya, Uganda and Senegal. I led and supported partners in project planning, monitoring and evaluation as well as social behaviour change initiatives. In Senegal I led a Global Affairs-funded pilot project, using peer engagement to increase youth access to contraception. I also spearheaded knowledge-sharing initiatives, facilitated workshops, and hosted multi-country conferences, ensuring projects met stakeholder expectations.

In addition, my tenure as Project Officer at the International Planned Parenthood Federation’s Africa region saw me enhancing sexual and reproductive health services across 36 member associations. My efforts included designing and monitoring projects, which strengthened the quality of services for marginalized populations.

My bilingual proficiency in French (Level C1) and English has been instrumental in collaborating with stakeholders across countries like Burkina Faso, Senegal, Tanzania, and Gabon. Whether facilitating team-building sessions or moderating international conferences, I excel at bridging cultural and linguistic gaps.
