About

Master's degree in economics from Georgetown University. B.A. in Economics from the Bolivian Catholic University. International consultant in Bolivia, Guatemala, Equatorial Guinea, Nicaragua and Peru on issues related to the design, monitoring and evaluation of development policies, programs and projects. He has more than twenty years of experience in the analysis of social policies, educational policies and poverty reduction proposals in Bolivia, where he has been a public official in the Ministries of Education, Planning and Finance. He has worked as a technical advisor for the Canadian Embassy, the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation and the German Technical Cooperation. He has taught at universities in Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras and the Social Management Program of the Inter-American Development Bank in Guatemala in fields related to Economic Policy, Social Policy, Development Indicators, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of Social Programs and Project Cycle Management. He is currently the manager of a consulting firm specialized in management support for nonprofit organizations and public entities. He is also an associate researcher at Fundación ARU, a research center on social and economic policy. He has published several articles and two books in areas such as: research and public policies, poverty, employment, educational quality, migration and evaluation of development programs.
