I have 20+ year experience in conservation and development with skills in innovative conservation finance, sustainable land management, institutional development and partnership development. My interest are in land and ecosystem restoration, assessment and monitoring, institutional building and strengthening land governance in land, water, grassland and forest ecosystems.

I have experience in working with countries in the implementation of regional and multi-country programmes through GEF, GCF, World bank, SIDA, USAID and other overseas development agencies. I have also worked global change project focussing on Land Degradation Neutrality with the UNCCD, sustainable agriculture, Nature-based solutions, intergrated water management, transboundary natural resource management among others.

I activitively engage and contribute to global tranformational platforms on grasslands and savannahs, rangelands and pastoralism and lead change in the sector of environmental and ecosystem management.

I have written and collaborated in several publications covering sustainable land management, agricultural economics, pastoralism, conservation development, Nature-based Solutions and agriculture among others.
