A Finance Professional with over thirteen years of progressive experience in combined Institutional financial management and consulting in both corporate and development finance. Experience in accounting and finance functions for programs funded by the European Union (EU), German Development Bank (Kfw), Bill &Melinda Gates Foundation, GIZ, African Development Bank, and International Development Research Centre in Kenya and partners in parts of East, West and Southern Africa.
With more than 13 years of diversified understanding of strategic and business plan development, building capacities of project teams, offering Complete Business Analysis and Reporting, including SWOT Analysis.
Nancy has broad practical experience in commercial development, institutional reforms, Aid on Delivery models, feasibility studies, financial modelling and project finance.
Nancy has developed more than 40 customized project proposals for utilities and Non-Governmental Organizations of different sizes and across sectors, in Kenya.
She was the Financial Team leader for the Western Counties in Kenya that piloted and implemented the Up-Scaling Basic Sanitation for the Urban Poor (UBSUP) project which was selected as one of the winners of the award under the category of “Delivering Inclusive and Equitable Services to Leave No-one Behind” in the prestigious 2019 United Nations Public Service Awards.-
Nancy is a recognized Financial specialist in the WASH sector for infrastructure development, and commercialization of water utilities having been involved in the restructuring and successful implementation of more than 40 WASH projects across Kenya improving access to water and enhancing financial sustainability for the water utilities.
