I am a tested and proven project manager with over 18 years experience in community development working in developing, leading, managing and implementing large community development projects targeting agriculture, livelihood and food security. I am a self-starter and I have successfully started and managed 3 projects in Kenya. I have managed project budgets and staff to achieve project objectives. I successfully led my teams in the 3 projects to accomplish the project targets and maintained team spirit. I hired and oriented staff in the three projects. I also worked with each staff to develop annual commitment plan after developing the workplan and followed month by month through meetings to ensure that we were on track and that all the set targets were met. I reviewed their project and financial reports on monthly basis. I monitored the project budget to ensure that were on point avoiding under and overspent. I was ranked the best talent manager 2015 by Land O’ Lakes Inc. I am experienced in developing partnerships with private and public institutions as well as with the rural communities. I developed strong working relationships with organisations like World Wide Sires, ACDI/VOCA, Kenya Agricultural &Livestock Research Organisation(KARLO), Africa Breeders Services Total Cattle Management (ABS/TCM), Ministry of Livestock Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Kenya Animal Genetics Resource Centre (KAGRIC), Kenya Seed, HPI, Kenya Dairy Board (KDB), Twiga Chemicals, Farmchem, Syngenta East Africa, Monsanto, KickStart, Agricultural Development Centre, CNFA/AGMARK, Equity Bank, Unity Finance and others and organised joint activities with them.
