I am a professional border guard with 37 years of active service, of which for the last 10 years I have held strategic level positions in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

        As a graduate of the Border Guard Faculty of the Military Academy named after M.V. Frunze (Moscow, Soviet Union), I have Master's degrees in border management and higher military education.

        In 2014, I received the PhD diploma in the field of public administration, for scientific work "Mechanisms of Public Administration of Ukraine Border Security at the Regional level".

        I have experience in the following areas:

-       More than 20 years in institutional capacity building and institutional development of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

-       Participation in the development of the concept of integrated border management of Ukraine for 6 years.

-       More than 37 as the Border Guard in  countering Cross-border crimes such as smuggling weapons, drugs and human trafficking  on the border with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Belarus, Russia, on a Black Sea Cost.

-       More than 37 years in Border management, good knowledge of the best World and European practices of integrated border management in different geographical and climatic conditions.

-       2 years of participation in repelling the military aggression in the East regions of Ukraine.

-       More than 20 years in combating of illegal migration and related to it criminal offenses. During the period more than 100 criminal gangs engaged in illegal traffic of people through the territory of Ukraine were terminated.

-       About 20 years in managing intelligence and counterintelligence activities of the SBGSU units.

-       More than 20 years in managing large groups of staff of the border police in Ukraine up to 10 thousand people.

-       More than 5 years in Diplomacy practice as the First Secretary of Ukrainian Embassy in Romania 2018 - 2019, participation in international negotiations EU, Moldova, Ukraine as a member of Ukrainian Delegation 2005 – 2009.

-       About 5 year of cooperation with DTRA within the framework of the US “Second line of defense” project, for Ukraine.

-       More than 10 years in cooperation on different level  with the representatives of Border Guard Agencies of Belarus, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, the Russian Federation.

-       One year experience of cooperation with government bodies of Romania such as: Ministry of Interior, National Police, Border Police, Anti-Corruption Agency in the Ministry of Interior, Prosecutor's Office, etc.

-      More than 20 years of close cooperation with government bodies of all branches of power in Ukraine: executive (Ministries,    regional governors offices); legislative (Parliament of Ukraine, regional parliaments); judicial (courts of various instances).

-      About 5 years of providing consultancy on the matters of external and internal security for private and state companies and enterprises.

-      5 years of participation in the work of the Commission for Demarcation Ukrainian - Moldavian Border.
