With more than a decade of national and international project experience, responsibilities have included preparing assessments and reports, aligning with EBRD and IFC standards, and leading stakeholder consultations. Previously held roles such as Social and Environmental Consultant and CSR Officer, the expert has achieved significant accomplishments in land acquisition planning and environmental risk assessment.

Project experience and donor exposure

Worked across diverse projects involving collaboration with international donors such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the World Bank (WB), the European Investment Bank (EIB), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The expert's involvement includes project implementation, technical assistance, and capacity building in areas such as infrastructure, environmental management, and social sustainability. These projects have been regional and national in scope, occurring in locations like North Macedonia, Ukraine, and Kosovo.

Sectors and geographic focus

The expert has worked across key sectors including community development, environment and climate, pollution and waste management, and laboratory measurement. Roles have included environmental and social consultant, project manager, and team member in various infrastructure and industrial projects. The expert's interdisciplinary knowledge spans environmental science, social sustainability, and technical assessments. Geographic work has primarily focused on North Macedonia, with additional projects in Ukraine and Kosovo, providing a deep understanding of regional development issues and local governance dynamics.

With a background in multilingual communication, the expert is fluent in English, demonstrating top-level competence in reading, speaking, and writing, utilized in international projects and collaborations. Additionally, the expert is fluent in Serbo-Croatian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, and Bosnian, enhancing communication in multilingual teams and regional projects. The educational background includes a PhD in Natural Science with an emphasis on Chemistry from Gothenburg University, Sweden, an MSc in Applied Environmental Measurement Techniques from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and a BSc in Chemical Technology and Polymers from Sts. Cyril and Methodius University, FYR Macedonia.
