About
Njideka is passionate about digital innovation and women’s financial inclusion that improves economic and social development for MSME’s, smallholder farmers, low-income individuals, especially for Women and Youth. I have worked in various roles where I led several projects and initiatives that involve deploying customer research, designing, piloting, launching, monitoring, training and management of various digital and innovative solutions with high participation for low-income entrepreneurs especially women in Nigeria. An example is the Diamond Bank products and solutions focused on Inclusion for the underserved consumers leveraging the BETA Proposition and Diamond Yello Propositions - digital solutions for low-income micro entrepreneurs/underserved which encourage savings culture, provides access to finance and payment services leveraging mobile and fixed agent networks.
In my current role as the Group Head of Education at Sterling Bank Plc, Nigeria, we have designed and implemented various digital solutions which provide digital skills for Youth employment, capacity building for Teachers, and an Education and financial management platform for School Administration.
I have effective stakeholder management skills collaborating and partnering with both international and local organizations including Women’s World Banking, Financial Sector Deepening for Africa (FSDA), VISA, Enhancing Financial Innovations and Access (EFInA), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Bank of Industry (BOI), Office of the Vice President of Nigeria, Letshego Microfinance Bank, e.tc. towards the development and evaluation of various programs that accelerate the growth of financial inclusion in Nigeria impacting over 10,000,000 low-income individuals. I was the key contact person for my organization facilitating meetings, presentations and workshops with stakeholders.
I have strong capabilities in engaging and influencing key decisions while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders. In 2017, I was awarded the CEO’s (Uzoma Dozie) award for leadership and exceptional performance in Retail Banking.
I am a 2022 Acumen West Africa Fellow with an MBA in Finance from the African Leadership University School of Business, Kigali.
I speak English fluently.
