I am an economist with 20 years of experience in different areas of the green and circular economy. I have conducted research and provided advice in a number of fields at the crossroad of environment and economy such as transition to a low-carbon economy; environmental infrastructure investments; climate finance and policy; cohesion policy and waste and water management.

I have consulted governments in strategic policy approach in the fields of circular economy, eco-innovation and Sustainable Consumption and Production. He has worked extensively on the issue of integration of sustainability in different funding mechanisms including Cohesion policy, EBRD and EIB funding.

I have worked for and in cooperation with important and demanding clients such as the DG Environment, DG Clima, DG Regio, DG Grow, the European Environmental Agency, UNEP, the World Bank, OECD, EBRD, UNIDO and the Dutch, German, US and Norwegian governments.

I have a wide geographical experience covering Central and Eastern Europe; the Western Balkans; Eastern Partnership, EU-27 as well as global experience in Sri Lanka, Belarus, China, etc.

I have obtained an MA in International Economics in the University of National and World Economy. He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris. He is fluent in English, French, Bulgarian, Russian and Serbian.
