Regional Representative (Regional Manager) for West Africa:

Management:

Represent in relation to authorities, CSO networks, institutional donors, partner organisations and other actors related to ERIKS’ work in the region. 

Supervise processes regarding current and anticipated registration in relevant programme countries. 

In collaboration with Financial and Administrative Officer (FAO) elaborate a draft annual budget for the regional office’s internal costs. In collaboration with FAO manage the finances of the regional office in accordance with approved budget.  

After approval from Operational Support Officer (OSO), sign contracts regarding premises, water, electricity, IT services and other administrative services at the regional office. 

Act as line manager for other staff members at the regional office, dividing work and responsibilities, elaborate annual and periodical work plans and follow up implementation of these. 

Recruit staff and make annual salary reviews in accordance with approved budget. Carry out annual development discussions and performance evaluations with staff members. 

Programme1 :

In collaboration with Programme Coordinator (PC) lead the process of elaborating country strategies and annual country reports. 

Support and build the capacity of Programme Monitoring Officers (PMO) and Financial Monitoring Officers (FMO) in their work and contact with partner organisations. 

In relation to the total volume of work and the available staff resources at the regional office, share workload of PMOs and FMOs in dealing with partner organisations and projects.

Mandate:

Represent in relation to authorities and other stakeholders. 

Sign annual financial reports for the regional office. 

Sign management response to possible recommendations from annual audits. 

After approval from OSO, sign contracts regarding premises and services related to the regional office within approved budget. 

Recruit and manage staff and make salary reviews in accordance with approved budget.
