Robert Kakaire holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Degree from Makerere University, a post graduate in public health with the Virtual University of Uganda and currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Monitoring and Evaluation with Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi. He is currently a country monitoring and evaluation coordinator with the Norwegian Refugee Council Uganda, with over 10 years of experience in monitoring and evaluating international relief and development programs.

Robert is a highly experienced, self-motivated and committed Development Professional who has demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams of professionals to new levels in several Programs and Projects. He has strong program design, monitoring, evaluation and research skills; financial management and people management skills with an impressive track record of 11 years of hands-on experience in program planning and management and over 5 years in conducting and leading program evaluations.

He has proven ability to successfully analyze community critical development needs, identify problems and potential opportunities, and develop innovative and sustainable programs for improving the communities’ wellbeing and promoting human transformation. He has experience in monitoring and evaluating projects in public health, nutrition, agriculture, food security, Education, Water, hygiene and Sanitation and governance. Possesses well developed computer and internet skills including word processing, power point presentation, spreadsheets and research packages such as stata and SPSS programs. Currently I manage the ODK mobile data collection platform for World Vision Uganda, I charge staff capacity building and designing data collection tools in ODK. Possesses excellent verbal and written English communication skills. He is flexible and versatile – able to maintain a sense of humor under pressure. Poised and competent with demonstrated ability to easily transcend cultural differences. Thrive in deadlinedriven environments. And has excellent team-building skills.
