20+ years of management experience in international relations and development as a professional international civil servant with the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the OSCE and DCAF.

Excellent knowledge of and expertise on SSR/G, in particular on parliamentary oversight of the security sector, the result of working directly on institutional development in Eastern Europe as well as in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Expert knowledge of the MENA region, including significant experience working with and in the region managing large SSR/G programmes and maintaining high-level political and diplomatic relations.

Direct work experience in conflict and hostile environments, including involvement in monitoring, promoting dialogue and conducting mediation. Direct field experience in post-conflict democratic institution-building, elections and SSR/G. Solid research, analytical and writing skills in three languages, developed drafting a great number of reports, articles, information documents, speeches, press releases, throughout the entire career.

Extensive experience in high-level meeting and conference organisation, mostly in challenging international environments.

Broad experience in public relations and media matured in very different working environments (banking, politics, journalism, international relations), combined with ability for public speaking, lecturing and briefing in three languages.
